In the early days of the automobile, a man who was driving a Model-T Ford had engine trouble. He couldn't get his car started no matter how hard he turned the crank. He advanced the spark and tried to make some adjustments, but still it wouldn't run. Just then a chauffeured limousine pulled up. A wiry, energetic man stepped out from the back seat and offered his assistance. After tinkering under the hood for a few moments, the stranger said, "Now try it!" Immediately the engine leaped to life. The well-dressed individual then identified himself, "I'm Henry Ford," he said. "I designed and built these cars, so I know what to do when something goes wrong with them."
In the same way God understands us from A to Z. He created us, so He knows exactly how we feel. We can confidently turn to Him in our hours of perplexity and frustration. He recognizes the difficulty, and He has the answers to our problems. Yes, God Understands!
